FHS Annual Meeting

Join us at Falmouth's Town Hall for our brief annual meeting, election of new board members, an update on Society programs and projects. 

In honor of the state of Maine’s upcoming 200^th anniversary, this year’s meeting will feature a special presentation entitled "Maine Bicentennial: A Marriage Made in Hell Boston."  FHS President David Farnham will discuss how Ancient Falmouth reluctantly became part of Massachusetts in 1658 and the ensuing dysfunctional relationship culminating with Maine's emancipation in 1820. 

This event is free and open to the public. You need not be a member to attend.
